COVID-19 GUIDELINES & PROTOCOLS

Treatment

In keeping compliant with existing rules and regulations pre-COVID as well as the addition to new ones to address public health concerns, the following must be adhered to by both Movement Matters and the client:

Existing

•  Therapist washes hands before and after each session.
•  Tables are sterilized and wiped before and after each session.
•  If sheets and/or face covers are needed, a new one is provided for each client and adequately removed and placed in an appropriate bin with other soiled materials before the next client entering the treatment room.
•  Any tools (IASTM, cups, etc.) are to be cleaned and sterilized before being used on next clients.

New

•  Please stay home if you (the client) exhibits COVID-like symptoms (sore throat, cough, fever, hard of breathing, etc.).
•  Please be sure to check-in at the front desk for the registry keeping of people coming in and out of the facility. (This was already in place but never enforced).
•  Client is to wash their hands before entering the treatment room.
•  Both the therapist and the client are to wear face-masks (There are free disposable face-masks at participating locations. Otherwise, a reusable and washable face-mask will be provided at a cost to the client).
•  A screening questionnaire is to be completed and signed for each client before each treatment can begin.
•  If coming in right after a workout, please dry off and change to dry clothes appropriate for the session.

Training

Existing

•  Client is to check-in with the front desk staff when entering the building.
•  During the wet seasons, the client is to take off outdoor shoes at the front door and wear indoor shoes after entering.
•  Client is to store belongings either at the lockers by the front door or inside a cubby by the gym floor. Do not leave your belongings laying around randomly around the gym.
•  Client is responsible for making sure not to leave their personal belongings behind after their training session.
•  Trainer is responsible in putting weights and equipment away after use.
•  Trainer is to make sure weight and equipment is not being used by any other trainer prior to using.
•  Trainer is to provide lemongrass towels to clients after each training session if client chooses to have one.
•  Towels are to be disposed in proper bins (black towels go in black bin, white towels go in white bin).

New

•  Please stay home if you (the client) exhibits COVID-like symptoms (sore throat, cough, fever, hard of breathing, etc.).
•  Client is to wear a face-mask entering the building.
•  Client is to wash their hands before entering the treatment room.
•  Only the trainer is to wear face-masks during training, it is the client's option whether or not they would like to wear one.
•  Trainer is to wipe down weights and equipment before and after use.
•  Client is to wash hands after their training session.
